experience all day. I am still in college (been going for a LONGGGG time, part time) but have always been working in the field I am in (well, since I was 17) and currently have a job making more $ than most people coming out of college. I had to work my ass off to gain the experience and put up with a lot of bull**** along the way but it seems to be paying off for a job while I am in school.

Afternoon all. I had a slice of cold pizza, wheat thins, and pineapples.

Today has not been the best.

My girlfriend called me and broke up with me an hour ago.

Out of nowhere.

We were fine, haven't had a single disagreement about anything. She just told me for the first time two weeks ago that she loved me.

:/ I'm sorry to hear man... any reason? Don't push too hard but if she does love you she'll agree to a face to face. Maybe not today, but soon. If not it's time to start healing

face to face isn't possible and that was her deciding factor. I go to school two and a half hours away.

And no, I'm not doing okay. I'm sitting here trying to piece together what the **** just happened and honestly, I got nothing.

Sorry to hear dude... seems like she's bouncing back and forth with the "I love you" thing to the break up thing. Did you recently make the move away from her? Seems like she's having trouble dealing with something? Hopefully just giving it a little time will allow her to think things over, settle, and make a stable rational decision (to be with you).

I live out in State College and she back at home. We started dating while I was out here.. but she cited the distance as being the main issue. But I have a feeling there is more to it than just that.

Either way though, it effing hurts. A lot.

There always is more to it.

Sorry to hear about the breakup man, we've all been there, some worse than others. You just need to take a step back, surround yourself with friends and people that actually care, and do you.

i wanna just give you huge hug. I know it's the worst feeling ever :c But try not to let your emotions get the best of you right now. Just take a couple deep breaths and try and calm down. She's obviously going through something as stated above.. And distance is a really hard thing to deal with regardless, been there done that. Even if worst comes to worst, focus on school for a bit. Get your life straightened out, then over time you're going to have so much more to offer someone. If someone said that to me i'd be thinking " I don't freaking care, i just want so and so in my life, i'll make it work" but try and pull yourself out of the picture, and look at it. You want someone stable in your life, someone who isn't going to make you worry about just up and leaving. A strong relationship that can withstand distance, which is so rare and hard to come by. But you'll find it, on day you will.
but for now. try to busy yourself. do nottttt dwell on it. you don't wanna be in a state of depression, or you'll start questioning evveryything :/ and we wanna keep you happy. if you wanna talk about it feel free to contact me whichever way.

I know all of the things she is going through and believe me, they are bad.
All of it has created an anxiety problem for her and she tends to jump to conclusions at times (her words, not mine).

After the person who introduced us ( a mutual friend, and a LONG TIME friend of mine) found out what happened, she called Ashley (my ex) to find out why this happened and turns out that Ash had freaked out about something (distance, along with a few other things) and decided on the spur of the moment to break up with me instead of bringing them to my attention so that we could talk about it.

By this point though, Ashley was feeling so bad about what happened that it took very little conversation from my friend to bring her around. She called me, apologized and we had a pretty serious convo about what happened and about the reasons for her decision.

Long story short, we decided to give it another shot. I'm still not sure if I did the right thing by taking her back, but there is only one way to find out I guess. I just hope I don't have to go through this again, cause I really doubt that I could handle it.

While I've only been in my relationship for 2 and 1/2 years, my GF broke up with me only 2 weeks into the relationship. I went thru the same thing you are, and it's gotten me into an almost 3 year relationship with her, just keep your head up and let her know that she can talk to you about anything, trust me, it helps a lot.
