I was there last year on my cruise as well... Tons of cab drivers trying to get you in their car to smoke was a little crazy. They were like car salesmen!!! Not to mention the baggie of cocaine some local stuffed in my hand as i was walking towards the wave-runner I was going to take out. I thought that guy was going to stab me in the throat if i didn't take it and pay him for it.

None-the-less I think it was the best stop on the trip.

Nobody really bothered us, either .. I mean, for as much as everyone talked up the harrassment, it wasn't anything too bad. I'd say a total of .. maybe ten people, if that. I was never asked about smoking or weed or any drugs (B was a few times), and I only got the 'Braid your hair, blonde lady?' line once.

I think it was cause we were hardly in 'mainstream' Jamaica. We got off the cruise ship, right onto our catamaran, right to the falls, right back onto the catamaran, right into Margaritaville, right back onto the cruise ship.
