Assume 2-5k in fines as well as drinking classes @ $200 a pop. He will not get out of it in State College. Like someone above said, they don't play! I have a friend who got one last fall there, and he lost his license for a month and payed lots of fines. He blew a .09 and only got stopped for speeding. So if your friend blew high, or had an accident, his could be worse

Drinking with any amount of alcohol in your system is retarded anywhere... but most especially in State College. Get a lawyer, pay up, do ARD and you may get out of it with $10k.

Next time don't be a moron. Taxis are cheap and plentiful in SC.

Anything more than 1 beer in your system and cops up here will give you **** for it. Rightfully so, but you still gotta be smart about it.

If you only have one beer in your system you should be smart enough to refuse the breathalyzer and field sobriety test, and let the cop try to spend 2 hours with blood testing you.

My idiot friend didn't do this and got a full blown DUI for 0.05%. Remember kids, anything over 0 is DUI if the cop thinks so.. 0.08% just means its guaranteed. Fail the field sobriety test with 0.02%? DUI. All you can do is resort to blood test ONLY.

Amazing how most people don't know this.

I live out rt 550 right by the Bellefonte/State College line so I'm up for that. It's only like 10-15 minutes to downtown from here. Seems to be a lot of people on here, and some tried to start meets before to no avail.

Oh trust me, I can get people to show up but 75% of them dont post on here.

Ill get **** going, no worries. Spring break is coming up so thats a no go for now. Ill repost when everyone gets back. The top of McAllister parking deck is usually where we ended up last year when we had all our cars running. Now everyone is doing RB swaps, SR rebuilds, KA replacements, and other funny things I can't divulge... There will be a DAMN fine slew of 240s being finished this year.

this is 100% correct they can give you a DUI at .01% if they feel that you are not in a condition to drive.. or you just have an asshole cop... BUT make sure you dont deny the blood test or its AUTO 1 year suspension.. unless ofcourse your blood alcohol is thru the roof and your a repeat offender.. then you have a better chance in court if they have no proof..
breathalyzer is not submisible evidence in court anymore there are to many variables and it is flawed.. the blood test is what counts.
oh hey or just dont drink and drive!

Maybe he just doesn't need to drink and drive...? I mean, one or two beers... fine. But when you get to legal limits your an idiot. I know when your drunk you can do anything, but goddamn haha

Drunk driver almost totalled my roomates lexus this weekend when I was driving it to and from work.

I am down to meet, just don't really fit in with a group of 240 guys very well. Let me know when and I will try to make it out.

Amen. SC is great for drinking, and it's great for driving... but do the drinking at night and the driving during the day.
