Basically that I can't stand the "SRT-4" crew. They don't wave to each other during weekend drives, they think their cars are the fastest thing on the road, they have this annoying cocky personality, they can't drive, and they ruin car meets.

I've owned 5 Nissan 300ZXs since I was 17. Now being 22, I have a boatload of friends from the Z community. They've helped me along the road with my cars, we've went on cruises, taken pictures, went to BBQs, and just had a great time. I've owned one Neon SRT-4, and the community has just turned me away from the car, and anything American in general.

Not to sound like a dick dude, but are you being serious? You would sell your car because you don't like the "type" of people that drive it? Who cares? It really bothers you that much? I wouldn't buy a car because the people who drive them are just so cool...and I also certainly wouldn't sell one because the people who drive them are just so not cool. Drive your car and enjoy it. Don't look to others for validation.

I agree. Except, I constantly get told my car is a piece of ****. Well, just because people think that doesn't mean I will get a new car. They don't know how much time it took me to get this car to drive like new. But, whatever floats your boat.

I know for a fact some of my friends actually want attention, therefore they get the "cool" cars that MOM and DAD bought for them, hence them being new cars. Another reason for keeping my car is that it is unique. I don't see many 1989 Accords rolling around now days.

I honestly used to dislike 240's. I never hated them but I allways referred to them as "RWD Civics".

Why?

3/4 of them are peices of ****. The owners are half asses ricers who care about nothing except drifting and putting stupid looking aero kits on their overpriced half rusted cars.

All of this changed when I rode in a buddy of mine's built s13 hatch. He is a roadracer. The car was built TOP NOTCH. Needless to say......I'v been hooked ever since

For 1/3 of the money I had ino my FD I have a S13 with the same performance abilities and a HELL of alot better reliability.

That happens all the time. Are you kidding me? I on the other hand had to work for every little thing I have. That doesn't mean I hate on the kids who have had cars given to them. I wish I was one of them. lol I just hate on the kids that act like an ass about it.

I totally understand and I respect that. My car was given to me by my brother. He moved onto an E34, and what more do you need for a first car than an old Honda with a stick shift? I will admit my parents paid for a lot of things on this car, but most of the things they bought were mandatory to keep it going. Stuff like brake upgrade, sound, etc. I had to pay on my own.

Most SRT-4 owners are ballbags because the car is cheap. Hence, cheap cars = cheap people. If that makes sense. lol Then the overly expensive cars are driven by snobs. The middle of the road cars have the best owners.

I can't stand some DSM drivers only because the n/t route is for the cheap. And well you know my theory.

Do you honestly think thats the entire reason I'm selling the car? No. I've went through 2 1/2 transmissions (3rd gear issue), and they haven't warrantied one. Now at 44,000 miles, an axle is torn to shreds. Great performing car, just sick of the issues, and having people constantly wanting to race every time I bring the car out.

And I have a car I enjoy .. my Z. I've NEVER looked to others for validation. I build my car, the way I want. I honestly could careless whether you or the next guy likes what I'm driving.
