I understand that. But it seems that they are just goign to raise the ceiling to pay off current debt just to keep making more and not solving the problem.

I'm OK with raising the limit at the moment because there isn't any other choice... but it needs to be done with the expectation that MAJOR cuts are going to be made.

My understanding is that what is happening.

The thing i dont get is that the Tea Party congress people are upset that people making over $250k a year still need to have tax breaks that they were given under President Bush.

I don't think wealthy people should be taxed at any higher % then poor. People are supposed to be equal. Isn't it the American dream to work hard and become successful? By taxing the rich, aren't you penalizing them?

I wouldn't believe it even if they said there was going to be.
The government has never and will never do the "internal" cutting that is required, let alone the "external" cutting.

The issue I see is they're trying to do to many things at once. What they need to do first is raise the debt ceiling, then deal with the cuts.

Our system does not work that way now. The more you make the more your taxed.

Taxes impact people who make less money much more than those who make a lot of money.

You realize that if there is a default on US debt, everyone, rich, poor, and in the middle will be impacted.

Good tune session today. Even if it was 90+ degrees on the dyno.

So glad to be home relaxing though
