Ah, well; it could be worse, right? We could have no direction at all. Or work in dead end jobs. No pun intended by the "dead" end part.

What do you have left, dude?
Plenty lol. Being on and off student hasn't helped one bit... or changing majors. Come spring, I'll probably try to focus full time on schooling so I can finish. I have been trying to work in somewhat related areas (as close as i can get), so I don't get left too behind.

My sister has a ba in commercial graphics design, and can't get a job anywhere cause either they want someone with work experience, or is already employed else where in the same field. Its a stupid catch 22.

And also, where else can you goto, pay for 4 years of training for $60,000+, pay back with interest, and not be sure you will get a job in the field you want? Sounds like a scam to me.
Try getting an engineering job without a degree . Or any physical science type job.

What's funny,, up where I work at, some of the higher up engineer positions state " 4 year degree or 2 year degree with military experiance in field required." I got the later, but what they don't state is " , must be butt buddies with interviewers in order to get jobs."

true. i feel bad for people that spend thousands on their degrees only to not get a job or make next to nothing. i work with a few temple grads at my work and for what they make, im sure their student loan debt is not worth it.

My brother went to Drexel with an engineering degree. He got a job offer through his last co-op and was able to negotiate with them for a little more money. Let me say I'm jealous and it has motivated me to go back to school possible next year.

ghhghg I'm screwed out of school too.
I was taking architecture at uPenn and had to switch to part time because I couldn't afford that many classes at once.
I waited 6 months for my student loan to arrive, only to find out they were taking it back because I wasn't a full time student anymore. But.. but.. I wasn't full-time because I was poor. And needed my LOAN, which I didn't get ... ugh.
Now I can't even be a part-time student, because I didn't get my student loan, and have to pull the money I owe for last year's tuition out of my ass before I can register for classes again. It's like a big circle of fail. It'll be a few years before I can go back and try again.

luckly for me, the military paid for all my college. so i didn't have to worry about that.

what did piss me off though is my college wouldn't except any of my military schools, even though most of them were taught by college professors and they didn't have the college equivlent course number and credit hours listed with them.

all they gave me was 3 general elective credits, in which i couldn't use, cause my major was "locked" in course wise.
