They do fireworks every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor day. The shops/restaurants donate to go towards paying for it as well as New Hope residents. I went a few times last year and it's crazy how the whole town just stops to watch. Traffic on the main street goes to a standstill.

9:30, but you need to get there earlier than that if you want to see anything and not just hear it. It gets pretty packed.

my friends live there... it turns into weekly tradition for them. I feel like I'd get tired of the town shutting down or getting stranded if I didn't wanna be there every week. def love fireworks though so I wouldn't mind it once in a while.

and yes tom, no drinks now. there's plenty of vodka back at our house though. I'm excited for my mango three olives.

for my sister, Joe and I, I have raspberry sweet tea vodka and rosies. mango three olives and lemonade. pinnacle whipped cream and orange soda. annnd stoli and tonic for the guy my sisters dating.
