You'd be surprised (I think atleast) how many tuners use handhelds to to do custom tunes on these types of platforms. We did a fully built and supercharged late model mustang and had all the tuning done on a SCT tuner. Car made over 700whp on pump gas. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than doing something like a FAST or Big Stuff 3 especially if there isn't open source tuning available for the platform. Not sure what's available in terms of software for the Mopar platform honestly.

I thought SCT was doing open source on most fords and getting into some mopars. I know HPtuners is getting into mopars as well.

just got finished installing a 91 octane performance CAI tune. looking forward to the snow clearing up so i can try it out. definitely want to dyno it and see what kind of numbers it puts down

Nice update, sounds like a map download. Make sure whoever dynos has a good wideband as well.

tuning does make a world of difference... i have my explorer tuned for 89/91/93 and even just the 89 tune makes a world of difference. i think your gonna be pretty happy with the result fella !

Nah the others ones are better. Oh they'll be going back on. Only reason I got these was to get better traction and keep those looking nice by not driving them in this weather
