Tein may be hit or miss, but the Flex are loved in the Miata community.

No, once the car is raised it will go to Mazda for that.
These are the 15x8 C1 wheels in Silver

Tires I also found Falken Ziex 912 in the 225 50 15 for same price as the 225 50 15 Kumho Ecsta AST. I think I will go with the Falkens instead.

912 are backordered. Should I do the 512? My dad has them and they feel good even on his stock 05 corolla in a 195 wide.

Here's another issue.
OK so I have an MSM with rolled and pulled fenders. I want to go with the Tein FLEX coilovers, lower than stock but not slammed. Wheel wise I was considering the 15x8 +20 TRMotorsport C1. The problem is I DON'T know what tire and tire size to run. The 225 50 15 are seeming to be too big, the 225 45 15 are a lot more money and are all very high performance tires. I want the car to feel planted but lively, and I'm thinking that with the 225 and a high performance compound will make the car just feel too sticky. I believe the Tein FLEX come with 7k/6k springs, I will be running a stock front sway, not sure about rear, and the car also has a HDHCDD rollbar and little in the way of power mods. What would you do with my tire dillema, and would you ask for stiffer springs?

What are your wheel and tire specs now? How much of a pull do you have?

The Flex is actually well regarded to with Miatas. Not every suspension works right on every car.
Wheel wise I think I am going to go with a 205 50 15 tire, maybe the Yokohama S-Drive, wheels I'm between the TRMotorsport C1 15x7 +25 and the TeamDynamics 1.2 15x7 +25.

those tirerack wheels are growing on me, still question the quality though. i personally think you should run 15x8 with 225/45/15. the tires are going to play the biggest part in your handling, so if you want to race/autox/whatever then you might want to look into a decent set.

The problem with a 225 45 15 is that there are only a handful of tires in that size. Nitto NT01, Toyo R888, Hankook Ventus RS-3, and Hoosier and Avon slicks. The other problem is I want the car to feel lively and light, with 225s in that compound it will be all grip grip grip. I think a 205 with a good compound will suffice and that's a lot of unsprung weight saved too.
6UL are on the bottom of my list because of their offset, I'd need to run a spacer to get the real fit I want. Keep in mind I'm looking at 15x7. The TRMotorsport wheels are made by Kazera I think, I've yet to hear any bad things about them.
