If you're not dropping the car more than about an inch you could probably get away with stock arms. I'd suggest having poly bushings pressed into them to stiffen things up though. Also, I'd have the shop doing the work on the car to install sub frame bushing while it's on a lift. It'll be way easier that way.

After looking at the picture again, I can see why you want to get over fenders. It'll save you a lot of effort in body work.

The Z32 trans should be fine for 600 hp, I'm pretty sure there are VG30DETT's out there making close to 1000hp through twin turbo transmissions. As far as the rb25 transmission goes, adaptor plates do exist for it, but their pretty much confined to JP, NZ, and AU where RB motors are common. Stateside it's really impractical to get an RB25 transmission and when you can find one they're usually about 2x more than a Z32 trans.

i'm really excited about doing the 240 i've been buying parts for 2 years now and it's finally going into the shop the end of may, should have it for june/july... hopefully.
I can't wait to see the finished product. I don't think I've ever seen a 240 with more than 400 hp in person.

You didn't ask me? You could always sell the Cobra Wheels and get a set of Grids. I'd recommend getting an 18 x 10" for the rear though, if you aren't opposed to Staggering... I guess you would be though, considering that your car seems like it would under steer like hell without a Staggered Setup.

oh yes def some kind of bushing eventually for all that, sway bars and perhaps bump stops, i wanna see what it feels like with just slapping the tein basics on at first.

over fenders make life easier for this car, for sure, everything i do has a reason, the hood is dented, cheaper to get cf and leave unpainted, the trunk is bent, cf trunk...

i priced out a few diff builds anything rb is astronomical, i agree it's a better motor but it would have doubled the price on a LOT of stuff...

i've never seen any 300whp+ 240s, looking forward to meeting some when i'm out and about though, i've always loved 240s i'll def be whoring it around driving though...

....next weekend i might, stress the word MIGHT, be picking up a white 92 vert for 3k ... but this is one of those things that probably wont happen unless the stars & moon align properly

I knew the P45R came in that size but I didn't see the grid *shrug*. I'm not opposed to 9.5/10" stagger, 275 fits perfect on both. I AM opposed to 18" wheels. 18" tire prices are absurd.

bro you never knew people are cheap? I thought everyone knew this. It doesn't matter what job you have, if you are servicing the public they are jerks. Trust me I work at a tech center for at&t and everyday i deal with ignorant people, arrogant people and just flat out people who have the IQ of bubble gum. But hey it's a job. At the end of the day you get to kick back relax and laugh at how stupid the people were. Trust me man just take it in stride you are going to get to a point when you realize it's nothing personal just a job.

Yo man. FN01R-cs do come in 18". I've seen tons of them on 3000GTs. Are you talking about the 4 lug versions?

Hmmm.

I stand corrected, I'd never seen a set of FN's in 18". I looked on the website and it's not even like they don't offer respectable offsets in 18" diameters either, maybe they're just rare or special order or some crap.

Regardless, it appears FN's are discontinued though, I wonder why? I was always under the impression that they were a relatively popular wheel because they were well priced and light-ish.

*edit* Ahh, it appears the original FN's were discontinued for an updated version called "FN01R-C Hot Version" which is being sold under their pro-racer line. Sizing looks largely unchanged, though there still isn't an 18 x 10 offering.

So i think ima get some coilovers and some baller wheels for the srt. Either some 17x9 +35 rota dpt's or some 17x9 +30 rota torque's. Think im leaning towards the Dpt's cause i see less of them around.
