No pics of you. Don't worry, there's no pics of me either. Just video. All the "action" shots of the cars turned out pretty bad because of our old camera's write delay. My camera mount failed too. Came out at a very weird angle. Couldn't even see the road.

Lemme be short and sweet: I'm a journalism major for my school and have been talking with Jess tonight about writing an article for the paper on this incident. She's more than happy to help me out and I hope you guys would be, too. My article is on how 'tuners' have a previously bad rap but can band together and accomplish a truly commendable and respectable act like helping her out.

I *do not* want this to turn into a "she-said he-said" story because my reputation as a writer is on the line for every article I write. I'm looking to talk to the EMTs that helped her (the TST EMTs, not the Ambulance guys who were called).

i understand man, but on my vr-4 i was running 550CC and the same meth set up running 25psi, which everyone on the forums told me is impossible cause i could only support MAX 20 on 550s and meth.

on the DSM right now at 28-30psi (granted yes its a 16G) im running 550CC injectors and the largest methanol nozzle they make. i am pullin -20% of fuel and gettin 3 counts of knock! before the meth i was at 20psi adding +20% to get roughly the same amount of knock count 3-6counts.

i understand your worries but trust me man, im not gonna be like oh big turbo, il run 25psi and see what happens, thats not what i do, im gonna zero out my fuel map turn off the meth and try to see how much boost i can tune for with no meth, i will add boost/fuel little by little montoring knock everytime. i want to run somewhere between 22-24psi with the meth, if i notice that its completly impossible i will upgrade my injectors. but i really think you underestimate how cars run with meth injection. and also meth has alot different burn characteristics than gasoline.

on my vr-4 i couldnt run more than 17psi without methanol, with the meth on at 25psi i was pulling -25 to -28% fuel with 0knock.

but dont worry man i will be safe! i wont just install the turbo and up the boost blindly, i never have done that. and if i find out the injectors are maxed out, ill just find a used pair of 720 or something and upgrade, but i really wanna see what 550s and 625meth nozzle have in them with this turbo. i think i should be able to run 17-20psi without issues but ill see, im going to data log it so i wont really be guessing.

brian crower 272/272 cams, SAFC2 (want to use DSM link in the future but so far it has served me well on both my cars) 550CC injectors, FMIC, XTD stage 4 clutch, walbro 255, 150psi pump for methanol, 625ml/min meth nozzle, arp head studs, stock shorty, stock head, slowboy racing cast manifold with 38mm external wastegate, aeromotive AFPR, 2G maf dejon snorkle (might upgrade to the 4inch FP snorkle when i put the turbo on), some haggard up 3inch exhaust that came with the car

i think thats about it.
