lightroom is the ****. too bad my laptop decided its too much to run now for some reason.

haha the lightroom issue for matt is taken care of. i use it for maybe 5% of my work and PS for the other since my desktop memory sucks and it likes to freeze up if i try doing too much at once in lightroom

all this lightroom talk is very ironic... I walked into economics class today and the girl next to me just whipped out her laptop and started talking about photoshop to me and photography. And we somehow got to the point where I said yeah I wish I had lightroom, next thing I know shes handing me a CD labeled lightroom! Kinda weird if you ask me.

^ shes not good looking in fact shes an older lady, think she has 2 kids. The chick who sits in front of me in statistics is pretty cute on the other hand.

I tried Aperture and didn't like it.

Lightroom on the other hand, I love. I've been using it for the past week, editing photos from the two collegiate cycling races I attended, and it's simply amazing how much it simplifies my workflow.

Previously, I used to upload/preview with Bridge, edit RAW with ACR, and then do fine editing in Photoshop. Now I just do everything in LR2. So simple.

The more I learn about it, the more I love it.

I use lightroom for about 95% to 100% of my entire work flow.

I didn't have a working copy of photoshop for the majority of the past 6 months. Lightroom is all you need for real photo editing and saves an enormous amount of time. Glad to see other people using it!
