Once this sells I may consider selling my D300, 12-24, and 17-55 in favor of a D700 and 24-70. So if you're selling what I want or interested in buying what I have, let me know.

Ok I hesitated to mention it because its a ways off still... I wont make a move on that stuff until the D200 is sold for sure, and even then I'd still have to decide if I want to change it up for the D700. I'm definitely thinking about it though...

If you see any used D700's at a good enough discount to buy used then let me know though, that may be a convincing argument there. They're $2500 new at B+H and Adorama right now, so I think $2000 or less is what it should be worth used to consider that.

Yeah actually Adorama is $2500 but you can get live.com cashback at 3% so it makes the total $2425 shipped... thats a pretty sweet price, definitely tempting. We'll see though, gotta move some of this other stuff out and decide if I'm ready to take the plunge on some FX lenses as well...

^ if you shoot nikon I have a cheap Tamron 70-300 lens that will be perfect. Things in like mint condition and has a filter with it. Looking to get 75 bucks for it but I am negotiable on the price.

Im ok, im picking up a D70 body for the girlie, so i need a cheap-o lens for her to play with.

ha im hoping to find a 18-55 for under $50 haha

Its a 70-300 Tamron F/4-5.6 pretty straight forward lens. great image quality for the price. No scratches on the glass. Comes with a filter. Its cheap. I'll post up pictures soon.
