Just checked out Perrin's website for their EVO X setups...they're running 12% off for the FnF movie too.
Full turbo back exhaust system, air filter, shorty antenna, cobb AP with a Perrin map, FMIC, turbo inlet pipe, and a rear sway cost $2600. How is the car also cheaper to modify than mine? sheesh... 350whp/360wtq with above mods too. stock turbo, which is also a twin scroll... theres a twin scroll gt30r garrett turbo that bolts right in too. would need injectors and a pump for it with the other supporting mods i prev. listed and a beefier clutch. talk of running 10's with that combo too...this is crazy.

Test drove a GSR with the SSS package and Navigation today during lunch.
I'm sold. Going to put my STi up for sale as-is for $18k. The only thing I didn't like about the Evo was the clutch and that's probably the first upgrade the car needs anyway. Everything else, including the KYB struts felt great. Very solid car...

It's unfortunate that Subaru wouldn't do test drives on their new STi. The difference between the two dealerships is quite apparent. Kelly has been very eager and open for me to test drive the car how I'd like and when I wanted to. They've promoted the performance of the car with brochures and the salesman really knew how to work the navigation unit and different controls on the car. I wish Subaru were as open to making a deal. I won't buy a car without a test drive and I'm still impressed at Kelly's level of disclosure and honesty.
Little things like reserving the car for me by putting my name on a mirror placard for my appointment and letting me test drive the car without me having to even ask are nice touches considering the amount of money of this purchase. I guess its confidence in the product too...the salesman was telling me to go faster and telling me to drive it like I wanted to....they really know how great the product is.
