Nick, in your case, I think you may have found your niche. I grew up working on/around computers and technology. I pretty much knew it would become my career path. I never brought myself into having computers or gaming or anything like that as a hobby. When I started working on cars, doing custom stuff to cars, that was my hobby. When I turned that into a big form of income, it really lost its appeal to me because it became a job. Same thing happened with photography with me.

Although I should probably add that it could be a good thing that I'm always working on something different and interesting. If it was the same mundane **** day in and day out, I'd hate it. But to have diversity from Ferraris to Saturns, it keeps it interesting and adds balance I guess. Like what I came into work on this morning....

Which is one of two scheduled this week, possibly a third one as well. Also a Gallardo, 360 Spider and a Lincoln Navigator haha

Yes, precisely.

Yeah, I honestly thought as soon as I made this a full time thing, I was going to dread and hate it. However, you keep working at it...and hard at it, it pays off. I've been doing a LOT of behind the scenes work the past couple of months and I think it'll really start to make a return this year. Lots of things in the works, a passionate hobby that can be a living as well is a great thing in my mind. Even if it means working 23 days straight at times

I hope it doesn't either, but I don't see it being as of now.

hi all....

Don't know if I said it but thanks Jason for the burgers and food and booze and stuff. I left so early because I was ridiculously tired for some reason.

The difference between you and most people is that you're running your own show. After 20-30 years and you have employees and a successful shop, you'll hate it all then. It'll just take a lot longer. I'd probably learn to love coding more if I was doing it for my own wallet, for different shops all over the country.
