Big thanks to Tiny, Ricky, Steve, and everyone else that put their asses (and faces (Steve)) on the line to diffuse the situation last night. I shot a ton of pictures of cars only and I'll try to get as many of them as I can up tonight for you guys.

Again i want to apologize to the new comers last night for what happened. Everyone that's been going to this meet for a while knows I try to make sure that everything runs smoothly. And i'm very relieved to know that when something pops off we have people that have my back and support the meet. Please new comers don't get distracted about what happened last night. That was a first and hopefully last. Come this spring the meet will be controlled alot more so hopefully if something happens (which i hope doesn't) we will be ready. I'm going to have signs made and not those crappy ones of poster board. I'm talking about the ones that you dig into the ground. I also might be looking into getting two-way radios. Now that this happened the cops are going to have a closer eye on the meet due to the size that it's become. So we really need to follow the rules of the meet. You get one warning from us and if you mess up your out of the meet. I have a ban list that i made it's already got a few cars on it. I know that when you around your friends and cars some people like to show off or do stupid things, but not here. Control yourself and try to act like an adult. We've worked way too hard to have incidents like this break up our meet. I'm there every Tuesday night so if you have any questions or concerns just come up to me and talk to me. Everyone knows who I am but for those who don't know I'm the puerto rican kid that drives the Red Tiburon just ask for Rick.

Just a fyi it would've been better to let him go and not restrain him..assualt charges can be filed agains whoever restrained him.

Honestly getting a few shots in would've been good..the cops wouldn't of pursued it. Plus its his word against numerous bystanders.

big up respect for keeping that ill situation chill. you never know what happens behide the scenes in a relationship...i mean if she gave him the hiv or kidnapped his kid or *ucked his father you never know what will drive a man to lose it. not cool at our meet but we all have a breakin point espicially when it comes to women. at the end of the day boy hits girl = FAIL.
meet wreckers will be tarred and feathered.

again nice work keepin the meet from being shut down. i go every week too.

The guy who restrained him was doing it in defense because I think the guy swung at him, and then tried to hit him while he was holding him. The guy is going to jail, there were so many people there, theres no way his testimony will triumph.

nah tiny deff made the right decisson and if it wasnt for tiny the cops probly would of shut us down after tonight..also he saved the dudes life

chip18..definitely find me i want to ask about your hybrid. i have a wrb 02 with 07 tails and an 04 sti scoop. there is a real cool group of subbies at this meet. i haven't met too many people outside the subby crew cuz those guys are so chill. the people i have met have been really friendly and chill. its a good meet never thought that drama would happen but yanno you bring hundreds of people together and many lives intersect.
i think the meet starts up at like 7pm but i don't get there till like 9:30 cuz of work.
gary has a 06 sti with advans
chris has a silver 06 wrx
matt has an 05 java wrx
brain has an 02 black wrx
greg has a white 02 wrx
john has an 02 wrb wrx with 04 scoop as well with 02 lamps.
justin has an 02 blck wrx
there are like 10 other subbies i haven't mentioned.
good times.

Not at all, it was organized on Corvette Forum. The more the merrier. In fact we have organized previous events as a competition against other car clubs. Maybe we'll do that again. But feel free to come - shoot me a PM and I'll get you the info.
