just saying, 15psi boost when its "tuned" and stock is what..7? not a good idea. your lucky the PCM is probably smarter than you and is dumping fuel and pulling serious timing when you go into boost.

am i understanding this correctly that you're driving around at 15 psi now and its all fun and no concern?

your wastegate must not be hooked up any more or something, fix it asap. either that or you have a boost controller in line thats set way too high.

when you get on the throttle and see your boost keep rising, you get off the throttle... i dont know why you even know what it feels like at 15 psi... that really is bye bye engine territory.

Its only because we ran out of time. It will be at 9psi tomorrow night when everything else goes in. You can run 10psi in these cars on a stock tune safely.

hahaha well put Bryan. I only got on it like twice the whole ride home just to get a feel for what more boost would be like, I have NO intention of having it set that high for any more than a few miles.

i would highly recommend not boosting until you address that. it probably isnt any faster at 15 psi than it is at 10 because you're blowing hot air and probably knocking (pulling timing, dumping fuel) so just wait, get it set right, and then enjoy your new highway monster

damn, shoulda just ran a line directly to the wg and ran wg pressure, or you should have made it more clear to him to exercise some self control...

If its going to be like this at 10psi, then I have nothing more to ask of this car as far as power. I raced a few buddies before all of this so I guess we will go again after so I can see just how much faster the car really is. To me, the butt dyno is all that counts

Get it hooked up before you drove it last.

LoL, man I know having a quick car is fun but you gotta be patient when it comes to things like that. Should be fun when you do get everything hooked back up though. Just be glad it isn't cold out like in winter.

I didnt know what would happen cause it smoothly went to ~7psi and then just shot to 15psi like a rocket...i have no excuse for doing it the 2nd time
