What you mean buddy? I'm not hiding although I like reading this stuff everyone is posting up. I did donate like $10 or $20 when I was there though.

I personally had higher expectations of Sonic last year.
I honestly don't think it matters. It's charity. Lots of people would be happy with 'anything' any event raised.
And there's a whole lot more to doing these events than people think. TST did donate.

No, it doesn't work backwards.

If the goal of meet is to raise donations for charity...... then just $5,000 from a gathering of 1,000 cars or 1,000 people is pretty low.

If the car meet was just a get together then lets call it that and not a charity event.

For the record, I have no problem with the Sonic meet or it's mods/members. I just don't enjoy going anymore. I hope everyone else has fun, though.

Exactly. For me, it felt more like a meet then a show/fundraiser.

So the rest of us don't matter now?

Speaking of food...I'm starving. But it still smells like poop in here and that makes me not want to eat.

Did someone do that in the bathroom floor or a corner in your office?

I listen to slacker cause it allowed me to hand pick songs to make a station out of (and it worked surprisingly well) and also it doesn't cut me off after 40 hours which I do in less than a week.

I used it for my last party of randomness. I just don't have a huge music following so remembering songs in hard for me. Its easier for me to use Pandora and make a list of songs I like, then add them to my download list or Grooveshark.

I will have to agree with Trista, as long as they are raising something to help that's good.

I think the point most others are making is that this used to just be a "meet", no other ties or strings attached. Now it's turned into an event in general, basically a car show. There should be no reserved parking for classy cars or anything in a "meet." I think they should feel that if there's a little charity box that's great, but other than that it it's not needed. That's what I'm assuming most are getting at.
