open deck motor + boost over 5psi = blowing up internals.
it takes too much work and money to make these somewhat quick your better off just forking out that little bit more for the wrx and work off that

not necessarily. People have gone higher but it all depends on how you go about modding it. Really it all depends on what you want to do.. I dont need a ton of boost. A little would be nice.. But we are thinking to just buy a WRX motor and drop it in instead. Honestly I rather swap the motor, than have a $400 a month car payment. But that's just me.

you have the previous gen to the bugeye or 02+ correct?

in those i would deff say worth it to boost it or swap. those motors are bit different from the new 08+ generation. They dont seem to handle boost very well at all, or really increase horsepower. And with mine being an 08 and already having a car payment I just dont feel like its worth it to completley build a motor when the wrx im looking at is the same price for what im selling mine for

its a 98 .. So yes its the Gc which is the previous model to the bug eye.

Gotcha.. I was wondering what year you were selling.. lol. For some reason i thought it was a Gc.. im such a tart lol. Yeah the Gc is far better for Boosting than the 08. Guys have pushed 14+ lbs of boost thru the motors and nothad problems... But with yours.. I hear alot of gripes about the 08+ all together , so that really doesnt surprise me. In your case I would do the same then.. Sell and buy another model, or trade it in even.

I'm not worried about you selling it. Your stuck with that car whether you like it or not. You won't be able to get what you want for it. This has happened what three times since you bought the car. Your never happy. Suck it up pussy.
