There's very little movement even with my belt set one notch looser. With my crappy nylon holster I had to tighten the s*** out of my belt just to hold it in place. The leather is also smooth on the inside against my boxers so it can slide a bit as I move, so I think that helps with comfort a lot. The nylon one gripped tight to both my pants and boxers so it pulled as I sat down. I went to The Handgunner in Topton and this holster was $52.xx out the door, but Classic Pistol had it on the shelf for $79.xx. That said, it was definitely an impulse buy since it was so much cheaper. Glad I went with it though.

On another note, since I've decided to keep my M&P for sure, I figured I'd work it a bit and make it a little more 'mine'. I just ordered the APEX Tactical DCAEK (Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit), which replaces the sear, striker block, and sear spring. It's supposed to completely get rid of the gritty M&P trigger feeling while tightening everything up and giving a very crisp trigger break. People who know lots more than me about the subject say it's the best trigger they've ever felt on a polymer pistol.

I also ordered the Crimson Trace laser grips. My brother got me a crazy good price on them through his work so I guess I'll try it out. I'm also switching out the rear sight for a Heinie Ledge serrated sight and the front for either a Dawson or Warren Tactical fiber optic sight. With the CT laser grip there's not really a reason to have night sights. Even if I decide to get rid of the CT grip, night sights barely function right out of a completely-dark holster anyway, so I might as well have a good day sight! With these things all done I think this M&P should turn into quite the perfect carry gun.

I think another range day is in order.

glad you went with the holster! i LOVEEEE mine, wore it all day today actually (and i rarely carry). I'm down for another range day anytime, the REPR should be mine sometime next week and i am dying to try her out.

You have my number so give me a call! i am def. going friday for my b-day if your free ill be there all day.

::edit:: once you get her (the holster) broken in it will "form" more to the shape of your body, i literally dont even notice my full size 1911 when im sitting in my car and its on my side.

How long is the entire day? I could be there around 6:30-7pm. lol. Everyone's at SEMA and I'm stuck painting everything this week. Next year I won't miss their deadline to commit to the trip and I'll be out there with them. We're pretty busy this week so I couldn't take off early on Friday or anything... although maybe I could call in drunk? haha.

Nice score on the comfy partner. That's exactly what I carry my M&Pc in.

and I'm in for a range day anytime...

Might be shooting at my buddy's farm this sunday actually.

can anyone recommend a good IWB holster for my K frame S&W 65? (do people even wear revolvers IWB?!?) this is my first besides the judge and that hardly counts haha.

Also, does anyone on here have a P238? i am seriously considering one and would like some opinions!

Can't say I've ever seen anyone carry a revolver IWB just because of how wide they are but I guess it could be done. I don't own a P238 but I have heard nothing but good about them. I personally have a Ruger LCP and have put about 100 rounds threw it with no problems. Only thing was one brand of HPs I bought were not loading right so I switched over to .380 Powerball to carry with.

I'm looking for a Benelli for some trap shooting. I know my chances of finding one used are not good but does anyone either know of one around or have any ideas on where to find one locally (the guys @ Tanners kinda chuckled and said they never get traded in).

CPI has a few on the wall, i think the prices range from 4-1200ish... never really looked that close though.. give them a call or stop in, there right in southampton.

Yep, get the SAS. Some of their models, mainly the HD, are having teething problems still.

I haven't heard of any SAS P238's with problems, including mine. I have about 1000 rounds through it so far and it's my daily carry, absolutely LOVE it. For a .380 pocket pistol, it's got no kick, and it's insanely accurate. The trigger is also very nice, and it's just a comfortable gun to hold. Place it next to the LCP, the P3AT, etc, and you will be sold right then and there.

It ain't your average pocket pistol, that's for sure.

Somehow I don't think its gonna work, but I would still look into these guys. I have one of their holsters for my XDM .40 and the thing makes my gun disappear under a t-shirt.

Since apparently I can't control myself...I went and bought my buddy Adrian's (TTsupra911) old Kimber UCII to replace the one I traded to Jay (Pagoda240) awhile back.

I just couldn't live another day without a subcompact 1911 by my side again.

I just listed a 11.5" POF upper on ARFCOM if anyone knows anyone who would be interested. It's unfired and like new. I mounted it on one of my ar's last year and it has sat in the safe ever since. I bought a 7" POF upper recently so this is a spare. I'm just trying to thin the herd for another c3 purchase.

This is what he got:

anyone want to recommend some glass for him? I have absolutely zero experience with long range shooting.
