Updated the first post.

Note the location!!! Due to being basically kicked out of the BWW plaza I got rid of that and replaced it with Hibachi. Address is in the first post but it's like kind of across from Governors Square shopping center on 40.

Bump for meet on Wednesday!

Weather looks good. Partly Cloudy, high 64.

Note the location in the first post.

I would suggest that you replace the name of this meet with "bi-weekly dinner date" because I pulled up to a bunch of cars with no people in or around them.

If the idea is to meet up for dinner...make it known. I know someone that drove up from middletown to meet me there and we left after 30 mins because we didnt know where anyone was.

Also if we did make a good guess that you were in hibachi, we wouldnt have known anyone anyway, nor who the people with the car meet were.

I was looking forward to this, just my 2 cents.

If you read the first post it says the location we are at and where we are eating. no need to be salty.

Just to clarify, im not mad at all. It was just a little annoying. 2nd, it doesnt say anything about eating. And Im sorry if I assumed to much in that Hibachi was just a location of the "car" meet. The rt. 202 meet was at Super G for a bit and I didnt think everyone went in to shop. lol

Also not everyone can show up at the same time. Just like any other meet some people show up later. I would have gladly walked into Hibachi....if I knew who you all were.

No worries though just a misunderstanding. In the future I would be glad to go to a car meet.

Hey man, first of all thanks for pointing this out as I can see where you are coming from with your comments. It makes complete sense.

I can definitely make some changes to the title or document more of what's going on in the first post.

We have the meet structured as such because of other meets I've attended around the Tri-state area. They are mostly done like this and I liked the idea. Come hang out, grab some food, and then hang out after.

The feedback is always welcome though and I appreciate you posting your thoughts.

Hopefully we'll see you out at the next one.

Its all good man, Everyone usually rolls in between 630 and 715 then we go in to eat at the place of choice. Then afterwards we try and hang out for about an hour.

well i was quite misled myself when i got there and saw nothing but subarus, and a lonely scion TC. i think a couple posts ago someone said "we need more subies!" i was grossly outnumbered

that being said, i went to try to find some peers to talk to about cars cuz unfortunately i have no peers where i work and no longer talk to old school chums. and even though i got there pretty late (10 minutes later everyone left) it was nice to talk to a couple guys about cars

im looking forward to going to the next one and i hope that there could be a little more diversity

There is diversity sometimes; quite good at that. But I think with the school year, work, and all, some of us can't make the meets anymore.

Updated the first post.

Stewart's is a nice bar/microbrewery. They do have good beer so that's definitely a place where even if you don't want dinner you can come in and get a beer, watch some sports, and chill. Those that want food can get some.

i'm planning to come out but hopefully this place is well lit with good lightning and stuff. As we all know, it will get real dark around 7pm so it will be hard to check out everyone's car.

iirc the back parking lot has a decent amount of street lamps.... but i'm not 100% sure on that. it's been a couple months since i've last eaten there.

we going to have a cruise up for all the southern people?
