big fmic

new shifter bracket and new mazworks short shifter.

replaced the steering column bushing with a new solid aluminum piece

slightly retarded seats, apparently sparco changed colors of the seats to a lighter shade of blue. i bought new inserts since they were wore out and i didnt get the bottoms

Is that the Xcessive solid shifter mount? How far front does that move the shifter approx. Hopefully I can use the same on my VH swap. I pushed the engine back 1-1/4"... Looks like it moves it forward more than that :/

it is actually a mckinney shifter mount. its meant the the vh swap into 240s but i still have the cut my shifter location due to it being on an rb which moves the trans back like 2-3"

Good stuff, I'll probably get a short one and just extend it the distance I need.

sanded

prepped

primer

satin base

doors prepped for bondo

put this in and realized i dont fit....this is my first cage so im learning a few things real quick lol.

im gonna cut at the main hoop and at the diagonal brace.

then weld in this piece over i shorten in up so i can move my seat back like a foot. im hind sight i should have had the seats and dash in it when i did the cage but i didnt. you live and learn. i also have to move the door bars now but thats a simple fix.

also got this today from a good friend. just shipped it out to be rebuilt.

did this today at work. thought you would enjoy some pics

got a bunch of stuff done today thanks to some of my buddies

started working on my switch/gauge panel for the dash

cut the harness bar and door bar, i got about 2 inches to move the seat back. i may tilt the seat forward a bit to give me a lil more leg room

mounted the tank with sump

i cut the front bumper for the front mount. this is just a fitment bumper so i know it looks like ****. i plan on running a front lip to tie the two ends together

and i got these pictures from the powder coater today. nice and shiny

and of course a working shot from tonight

been looking into a line lock to help me do a big burnout when i stage. trying to figure out if i wanna run dual solenoids because of the fact the stock master cylinder runs an independent line for each brake caliper. im gonna have to bend all new brake lines anyway because of placement of the solenoids...which i have no idea where to put them. im kinda dependent on the motor being in so i can place a bunch of ****, like the fpr, catch can, running of the intercooler pipes. kinda sucks but guess thats how it goes....
