lol...yup. She sucks so bad sometimes. I mean, it's nice she is interested, I guess, but she wants everything to be her way and that's it. Even if I don't like something, we still have to do it or at least try it out. It ****ing sucks. I am by no means "traditional" and anyone who knows me will tell you this. Why is it so freaking hard for her to understand that? I know she means well, which is why I let her do it. But, at some point it needs to end.

Sorry for venting here...I know guys don't really give a sh*t. haha.

It's not so much what she is suggesting, it's what I'm suggesting and she is shooting down. Then, she'll do something the way she thinks it should be and I have little to no say.

Like the flowers, I don't really care for them and won't be having any real ones. So, I'm making my own bouquet so that it's more "me". Everything I say I like, she disagrees with. She's talked me out of several decisions I've made and when I get home and tell Keith about it, I'm like "why did I just let her talk me out of what I want to do?"

I know I'm being vauge, but if I really went through everything my post would be pages long.

Oh another think she likes to say is that we're getting married at a bar, just because she is unhappy with where we chose to have the wedding. It's childish.

(let me also comment that she is not paying for anything, so in my opinion, she doesn't have much say in anything...)

Honestly, do what you want. it's your wedding. It should be about what makes you happy and not about pleasing other people.

i know that it's hard to tell your mom that she needs to back off, but it seems you don't have much of a choice. keep in mind that you're only going to get married once. you shouldn't have to compromise the things you want, especially if you're the one paying for it. don't let her talk you out of things. the bottom line is it's your wedding, not hers. if she hates your choices, oh well.
are you getting married at victory? the ceremony and reception?
once again, she's just going to have to get over it. there's really no need to reiterate her hatred for everything.

lol...Jamie, she's nuts. I'm making fabric flowers and she took it apon herself to go buy the materials. I didn't ask her to do this, nor did I even know that she bought stuff till I stopped by yesterday. (I also had no say in the color choices she picked out...grumble, grumble.) She spent $15 dollars on ONE SPOOL OF THREAD. Who spends fifteen ****ing dollars on thread?! Crazy people, that's who.
