and on that note, I saved a few dollars thinking I was gonna owe on taxes. Turns out I will be getting a refund. So with the bonus money I saved, I think I might buy a miata. There's a few cheap ones out there.

I've been through it Jacki, I've done it, it sucks, I know. Life sucks sometimes, it really does. My finances are tights too. But I've reached a point in my life where I just have to make up for bad times in the past. Hence, I bought my STi(cash, outright, I'd marry that car if I could) I decided its gonna be almost 70 on friday & the STi doesnt have a sunroof, so I'm gonna go look at two miatas tomorrow. I took my family out to dinner tonight, and last thursday as well. I took my two best friends out on my tab for drinks last tuesday, friday & saturday. They didnt spend a dime. Do I spend my money foolishly? probably. Am I happy for it? definately.

doctors appointments went well (for the most part) that i needed to go to. found out that i'm getting a 3.2% raise starting Monday and an enormous bonus paying out this Friday. then found out my great grandmom is doing worse than she already was. bleh.

thanks guys it definitely sucks, but I mean she is 94 and her immune system isn't the greatest anymore. she's living in an assisted living facility that has sick people walking around everywhere, she was bound to get sick sooner or later.

Meesh good luck on your grandmom. Always a bummer when losing someone in the family. Congrats on the raise though.

If anybody can help me out with my Monte Carlo issue. New starter works but ran into other issue on way home....

By the way, had this issue before but not as bad, but yesterday when I didn't get very far, all of a sudden the car shut off on me. Straight up cut off and showed the volt symbol for low voltage. I give it a minute and the thing starts up right away and gets me along on my dandy way. Again I've had this issue before but not completely shutting off, it just cut off real quickly and came back on. Could it be a bad ground? No codes are thrown.

I hope that things go well for your grandmom. Health issues can wear on the family physically and mentally . I hope that things get better for everyone.
