The infamous BB -> SA Tuesday night South Jersey meet! *temporarily shutdown*

Agreed **** happens, just take it easy when you're here and try to lose your cool. We had a guy in a turbo s2k a few weeks back almost run into a group of people cuz someone threw a football and hit his car. Did he deserve to be mad, Abso****inlutely. However he was still wrong for driving like a douchebag in public. We all approached him, told him to not do something like that again, and he knew what he did was stupid, so it went over well.

Idk who the hell it is saying ****, if someone does something stupid that generally isn't welcome at a jersey car meet(unnecessary revving, burnouts, soccermom minivan ebrake pulling, etc), we expect people to step up and say "Hey, you're being retarded, stop doing stupid **** or we'll lose this spot." There's no need to get hard with anybody no matter if it's someone that isn't in your general group of friends. Just makes you seem less mature. Not judging you, just the actions i witnessed that night. I was the other guy who came up after the argument and tried breaking you 2 up btw. The music guys were also addressed that night.

On a good note, things could of gotten a lot worse than they did that night. A little foolinaround is ok, just don't do anything you wouldn't do if a cop was around the corner. Last night's meet we had a cop chilling with us for over an hour and we have their full respect for keeping it this long. They're pushing for 2 MSPD cruisers. One in each major entrance for the 8-11ish timeslot of tuesday night. Just their presence noticeably decreases the amount of douchebaggery that this meet sees. That's one of the officer's points for placing the troopers cuz they know there are good eggs in this bunch of crazy people.

how about dont be a ricer and rev the piss out of your car, blast ill beats, or drift/burnout in our meet lot? go get your dick hard somewhere else, we all have modified cars here and in the end no ones really impressed. If we get our meet shut down i dont care if its a random dude that herd about the meet word of mouth or its anyones boy, ****s ****ed up either way you look at it, and if it is someones boy they gotta stop sucking their dick grow a set and tell them to chill.

FWIW, every time i hear loud high revving/2-stepping/popping that sounds like gunshots I get very agitated.

ever since the explosions in Iraq I don't care much for loud noises and my adreanaline goes sky high instantly. i cannot stop it, it's my immediate reaction.

just realize that veterans arent keen to loud noises. I had a kid in a k24 del sol redline behind me in woodbury and i almost ripped him out of his car. I was shaking, visably.

yeah, the ppl that usually step up to yell were the kids friend, so they defended him. then jackie & other buddies were talking to him as he was leaving and didnt say a peep when he drifted out of the lot. if that was me i'd be getting flamed.

again, I will try and control my reactions, but I'm still dealing with the PTSD issues.

You might get agitated but that's the first time I've ever seen you take action. You can't just pick one kid out of the crowd, Brit. If you have a problem with one person, you need to address each and every one of the people that follow.

Besides, nobody asked you to police this meet. I didn't see one person that actually runs the Jersey meets (ie. Ryan, Ricky, Tiny, etc.) say a damn thing. If you don't like how things are handled, don't come.

If a little revv of an engine gets your blood flowing, maybe you should have said something to the guy whose bass was bouncing off the buildings all night. That didn't seem to bother you, though.

For the record, he might be one of my best friends, but just because I didn't FREAK OUT like I would anyone else, doesn't mean I didn't say anything to him. I walked right over to him and rationally told him he's being an asshole and to cut it out and he was still heated because you apparently blew up. It's not his fault you suffer from PTSD. Maybe a car meet where the majority of the people show up act like idiots and are much louder than they should be, isn't the best place for you. I promise you, you see better results when you calmly walk over and pull that person aside and politely ask them to chill out. I though that would have been one of the first things the military tought you. It works in every situation.

if im going to the drag strip its expected, but at a place where its quiet, it is different.

I pissed off the kid in the rhd car on tuesday too, not even meaning to, I was makin a joke about hanging idles as I have had them before but he got all mad. guess I just go for nismo owners. *shrug* my bad to whoever he is.

i respect vets & understand a good percentage of them come back with problems, but we dont need you going chuck norris on someone @ the meet because they pressed their gas pedal. Lastly people get mad when you sit there and bash their ****, nismo to focus people are into different things and many of us have put alot of hard time and money into these cars so yeah theyre gona get mad when you tell them their **** is dumb to their face. just keep the opinions to yourself and there will be alot less confrontation.
