Is it 430pm yet? Just felt like saying it since everyone else is.

Anybody know the best place to get a wireless controller for XBOX 360? Heather's sister and I are probably going halves on one, but obviously will need another controller if we only get one. Just wasn't sure if some body has found them cheap at a certain place.

They are all about the same price at retail. Might be able to find one cheap on eBay. Just make sure its actually made my Microsoft because most aftermarket controllers really suck.

I woke up today thinking it was Friday. What a bummer.

Anyone else have a really ****ty co-worker? I've been waiting all morning for the produce to come in so I could do my distribution. So finally, I go back in the warehouse to find out wtf is going on. I get "Oh, no one told you? There is no produce today." WHAT THE ****. So I go to my director and tell her. She calls in the warehouse manager to tell him he needs to let me know when stuff like this happens. His excuse: "I'm a sick puppy! I need to lick my wounds!" Meaning he was too sick and "forgot" to tell me.

Dumb ****.

Thanks Jason. We are looking into doing a refurbished one probably. If we are both only paying $70 a piece, that isn't too bad in my opinion.

I had one of those back on the origional Xbox. We called it the bitch controller because whoever lost had to use it. I hated it. So much easier to use the same controller day in and day out.

I don't see evidence that audi's last forever, but I see tons of high mileage E36 M3's still loving life. I did conveniently forget about the I6's tendency to blow head gaskets. Not exactly a small issue even if I'm well prepared to deal with it.

More people owning audi's would mean less demand for BMW M cars. That would make more supply and the cars would then be available more cheaply. I'm specifically talking about used cars though. My theory depends on crazy nut jobs willing to spend $60K+ on a new M car but those don't seem to be in short supply (who are these people?)

Reliability? I have only anecdotal evidence from mailing lists and forums but all in all I get the feeling they are relatively troublefree cars that can take a beating for their entire lives. I know very wealthy people driving around in 95 M3's and nursing them along because they would never get rid of them. I know audi/vw owners who hate their cars but won't admit to it. I see scary **** on them like the insulation falling off the headlight wires or them having to revise their timing belt replacement intervals to a shorter amount of time because they used a **** part. The accessory belt tensioner can go in cockeyed which will cause the bolt head to shear off when torqued to spec. The 1.8T has the most ridiculously stupid timing belt configuration I've ever seen in my life. The turbo studs/nuts seize, all of the plastics are brittle including the oil dipstick (wtf is that plastic). You know, yeah the engine is fine and they are as reliable as BMW's in that sense, but man I see some stupid engineering decisions. In order to do the timing belt on the 30V you have to open the front end into "service position" which can't be done in a normal garage.

I revise my theory to BMW and Audi's are equally trouble prone and have little issues, but I think that when it comes time to work on and maintain a bmw the work it needs is more straightforward, less annoying and the design of the R&R process of whatever you're doing is much more thought out.

I love the E30 M3 but it is craaaazy overpriced. You're paying for rarity or antique value and I won't do that.... I would drive the **** out of that car and ruin it ;)

But yeah, I have *no* clue about the reliability or ease of working on the forced induction applications. The early N54 (6 cyl twin turbo) engine applications DO have a few problems. The high volume fuel pump stops working and leaves you sit, they run hot and like to overheat the oil. They are not suited to the track at all.

But yeah every GTI owner I know secretly (or not so secretly) wants an M3. muhahahaha.
