Yeah I'm so anxious to get the car on the road!
Being that I bought the car not running my thinking here is that I wanted to just get a decent setup on the car just to get it running and make sure that the motor, trans, and all other components are all in good working order so I know I'm working off of a solid base. Then once I'm more settled in with the car maybe 6 months or a year after I get it on the road I would think about upgrading some more to personalize the car to be exactly what I want... maybe fuel and a 71mm turbo or something in that range (but who knows!).

Its an extra step to do it this way, but I think it makes sense. A lot of people have said to just go with a 67mm but I'm going to be running stock fuel for now and pump gas so thats going to be a pretty big limitation on any single turbo really. The only thinking I've been having recently is that if I put the effort into getting the manifold, downpipe, intake, fmic piping all made to work, and then I want to change the manifold... I'll have to change everything which is kind of a pain.

On that note, anyone have any thoughts on the RPS manifold? There's one for sale on SupraForums which had the ewg flange modded to avoid creep and was just freshly jet hot coated for $800 shipped. It seems like a good deal for a 'name brand' header, I'm just not sure if I'd still end up wanting to upgrade down the road even with this one. My original plan was to go with a XS Power manifold for now with definite plans to upgrade down the line... that manifold would cost me about... $400 including ceramic coating, maybe a little bit more.

I don't know if there's enough offset in the wheels for them to fit right.

I'm going to go with the following setup on my next set of wheels

18X9.5 +50mm w/265/30/18 up front
18X11.5 +50mm w/315/30/18 out back

ha they'd look insane... verrry aggressive. most supra guys run offsets between 40 and 50, just to give you an idea. the ones i just bought are a 30, and the ones you linked to are even a bit lower than that. i love those wheels, you might have noticed i posted in that thread a couple times

here's a dude with those widths and offsets you linked to above running 245s in the front and 275s in the rear... it looks great but it is giving up a bit in terms of tire size and alignment though.

i honestly dont know if i'm going to be able to fit the rears of the SSRs i just bought on the car even with rolled fenders... the most extreme fitment i've seen without rubbing is what i linked above... so thats a 10.5 wide wheel, +24 offset, but a 275 tire. i'll be using a 10.5 wide wheel, +30 offset, but a 295 tire. only time will tell... i do have a spare set of 285s as well but i'm not trying to size down on rubber if i dont have to.

edit: tim you really could go with a slightly lower offset effortlessly... like a +40 or a +45 at LEAST. haha...

yeah they're sweet... i'm hoping the +31 / +30 offset i went with will be a great balance of being aggressive without going so far that i have to make any big compromises.

if you see a set of work meisters let me know! 18s, at least 9" front and 10.5" rear, and ~30 offset or above...
