Its a good welder, depending on what you plan to use it for if may be too heavy for thin sheet metal ......like body panels AKA 18-20g. Miller 211 is what Im looking to bu yin then ext few months, also Hobart is good a few less bells & whistles but good all around for the price. All three of them can take a spool gun so you can do aluminum too.

I like the 211 too but its pretty close to the Lincoln 180 dual... they both can run 110 or 220 and they are rated for 24ga up to ~1/2"

Even the duty cycles are similar. The main difference for me is the price... Im sure either machine is above my capabilities so I should be ok

Why do I have a feeling that J-Ru is going to be that guy that pops up finally out of the shadows at the very end with this super epic build that no one saw coming?

On that note, OBEE's definitely going to pull something sex-filled off, and Rich will build yet another quality German machine that goes vroom.

So bummed I was going to quietly self-enter myself into this battle but I just got rid of my 240sex in favor of something less mobile. You guys can drift in my living room if you'd like

OBEE I say build the SC and the cressida and use wing nuts to secure everything mechanical. Then proceed to swap the entire drivetrain from car to car between runs. Wreck one? You've got a backup! Keep the bros/hoes guessin'! I'm sure CL can give you a multi-car discount too

Mig welding is simple bro, its something you can get the hang of and grind out if you eff up. i enjoy it, My old tech teacher used to make us weld galvanized steel and when i asked "Isnt this deadly to breath in" he responded with " Hold your breath" haha
