I actually have been. I need to actually try some on before I look at used ones. I'm not willing to buy it before I try it, ya know? I actually have an appointment at a vintage dress place on Monday, so used definitely does not bother me.

Do you know or remember when she got her dress or who the designer is?

Thats what i thought and said above . I didn't think there was any major hardware change between then.

Tried installing previous OS. install errors out bc of hardware. There are hardware differences between the mac minis im using.

Also have tried taking new MM hardware and placing the current 10.5.8 image on it. The machine will image fine, but hang during boot.

To install Leopard on an '09 mini you need to connect your mini to the another Mac with a FireWire cable and start the mini in Target disk mode. Then install Leopard on the mini's HDD. After you have installed Leopard from the Install DVD, while still in TD mode, you need to update Mac OS X on the Mini to 10.5.8. Mac OS X 10.5.8 has the software specific to the hardware configuration of the mini.

I found actually found the link you posted when I was searching earlier lol. Where did you find that quote that you posted?

edit: mac minis i have running 10.5.8 are 08 and 09 minis. 10.5.8 imaged and worked fine over late 09 minis (with native dual display) but the new form factor mini (had hdmi out) from mid-late 2010 wont work.

To add to my current car troubles. The stupid ****ing volvo crapped out on me today. After doing a full bottom end rebuild. Stalled and wouldnt restart. Im getting so f'ing fed up with cars.

Considering selling all of the bull**** that I have that doesnt run, and just leasing a ****ing kia or something. This is regoddamndiculous.
