Morning everyone! Dentist appointment sucked last night, the crown for my root canal feels like its too tall. Did some holiday returns afterwards, and then went home and passed out around 8, and woke up this morning.

I'm down for tubing! I think the afternoon-evening one would be better though. I'd have to leave my house at like 530 or so to make it to there by 8a.

That sucks about the tooth. I hear that kinda stuff really ruins the day.

I'm not picky. Afternoon sounds best since the sun is still out and its a lil warmer, but tubing in the dark with all their lighting would be neat too.

I thought the passes were from 8a-12p or 12p-5p?

no sir.
Blue Mountain tickets and prices

it's not like going to see a movie. you can get there at 10 or 11 and still get the day pass that's good until 5pm.

alsoooo. just got off the phone with someone in my township building because they offer discount ski tickets. I can get basic adult tubing tickets for Blue Mountain for $24

I guess you turned around before the turnpike. Once I got stuck on 309 due to an accident in like million degree heat on the motorcycle. I looked down the entrance ramp I was sitting at and there was a cop blocking it. I figured if I went down there, in the shoulder, slowly, down the blocked entrance ramp it'd be cool but he got such a sandy vagina over it and made me go back up and sit in traffic for no good reason. *sigh*... douchebag.

Your link is for ski lifts not tubing.

This is for tubing only: http://www.skibluemt.com/SkiBlue/activities/tubing.aspx

Bikes in traffic on hot days really suck! Its like being in a car with a winter jacket and the heat on full blast.

Ken by the way. Only reason to get Boss would to own it then keep it stock. I would still prefer to spend the $8k less and mod accordingly the way you'd like it. Yeah it will have beafier suspension, but besides that, and the forged internals and better heads, the rest is relatively the same.

yeah, i know, but there was a line on the page i linked that said add $10 for tubing lift prices.

either way, i feel like the township price that i posted is a good price. I'm curious to see if it's only for weekdays and not weekends though... i didnt think to ask that question until after i got off the phone and I dont feel like calling back.

You'd be surprised. Same compression ratio, valve specs were left the same. Says more aggressive cam, better aluminum heads. It actually had 10 hp less at its peak than the GT if I recall.

That article just sealed the deal for me. Boss is basically overpriced and nothing all that special other then a badge. Really just as dumb as a non S/C Saleen or Roush.

and it says 10 lb's of tq less. HP increases and so does the rev limiter. not to mention the engine internals

"As with the old Boss 302 the decision was made to concentrate on high-rpm power production by optimizing engine respiration. To that end a new set of cylinder heads was developed with CNC-machined ports that allow better breathing at high rpm. More aggressive camshafts were also fitted to take advantage of the increased air flow. The valvetrain components were lightened to better survive those higher engine speeds and new sodium-filled exhaust valves dissipate heat more effectively. New forged aluminum pistons and sinter-forged steel connecting rods were also added to solidify this 302's bottom end."

and the suspension

"Naturally, all Boss 302s get a heavily revised suspension. The stiffer springs result in a slightly lower ride height (11mm in front, 1mm in back) while firmer bushings and a thicker rear sway bar further stiffen the ride. Five-way-adjustable dampers are also part of the package, along with an adjustable electric steering box."

the car is a track monster, which is where it belongs
