So that makes the flyer less than rubbish, since we know Pens > Flyers. I dont' get your logic. Personally, if the Flyers had beaten the Pens, I'd want them to go all the way. Then I would at least know that my team was beaten by the best in the NHL.

no, b/c some teams haven't made the playoffs in 23 years, or haven't made it nearly as far as the fly-boys

Our boys play hard... well, when they're not looking sluggish lol.

We've got a good team, young (newish) players and pretty well balanced. They need to work through their issues like any young team. It'll come, eventually...

Besides, its just a game... all you flyer haters are making things a bit more serious than they need to be. Theres nothing wrong w/ being upset when you're rooting for the home team, theres nothing wrong with cursing, being pissed... etc.

Amazing how sports "fans" try to make it personal. I love hockey, I love the flyers. They win, they lose, I'll watch next year either way... and I'll keep on rooting for them in the playoffs next year up until they either win or lose.

I really wish we'd have more rugby coverage in the states though I hear our Philly Rugby team are really good.

Im just stirring the pot like i do whenever Philly teams lose. I can't stand Philly sports and I will keep routing agaisnt them every season. It's okay to have a sports city that you despise.

I think the Pens have a shot at Detroit, but they could most definitely get demolished, either way it makes me feel good that we made it past the Flyers.

But anyhow, hating and loving teams is what makes watching sports so fun.

Hearing Philly fans make excuses for thier teams losing is even more fun!

I kid, I kid.......but seriously, keep not winning championships Philly!

Here's for hoping the West series goes 7. I am routing for Dallas all the way because they can't have much left in the tank for Pittsburgh.

its was a good series and a good playoff run, especially after being one of the worst teams last to end up playing in the conference finals.

it was much easier on the heart for them to get mashed 6-0 as opposed to say a 3-2 loss in overtime. lol. oh well, good run boys.

the pens played well and are a better team...no doubt about that..even the injuries set aside, the pens most likely would have won the seires...so congrats to the pens...but the hell if i will congradulate fans that have never supported that team, come out only when winning and are whiners to boot....so go detriot or dallas!!

Pitt is one extremly talented team. The next series will be very very good. No team is going to make beating Pitt look easy. If anyone wants to bet, I got some doe on Pitt to win. They are very good. Time will tell!
