i've heard they wear quickly. the skin on the inside of your lip peels (which sounds gross) and heels itself constantly and they also wear because of the acid and chemicals that go in your mouth.

not trying to burst your bubble lady, just seems like a waste of money.

Oh, I know they fade. Just like hand or foot tattoos fade. I don't really think it's a waste of money because it's something I enjoy. I mean, all of my tattoos are eventually going to need to be touched up.
