Morning all. Bummer that Eagles lost. Work today and tonight and then rest of the week off. Might use some vacation time next week that I accumulated working late here and take off next Friday, day before my birthday.

Ever since my sisters and I were little my parents always took us to the big (as my mother calls it) Oriental market in North Jersey on/around New Year's Eve day. So, I'm going there with my family early in the morning. It's always been a tradition in my family for my mom to make Japanese food for New Year's Day, which is cool. Then we have a party to go to at my bff's house. Should be a fun time. :D

That's a really awesome tradition! My sister and I are starting some new traditions (like making a gingerbread house every year and opening presents from each other on Christmas Eve) but since half of my family doesn't talk to my dad it's hard to get a whole group of us together anymore because people refuse to see other people.

Hope the party is a really great time! i got an invite, but Jim and I are going to a party at his Aunt's house. They had a Christmas party there a few weekends ago that was really fun and hilarious so I'm excited for this weekend's party.
