Don't you like how companies spend money. My dad told me that his company had some money to spend or some weird stuff like that, they all decided to get ipads. I'm like interesting way to spend the money.

I want it to be 4:30 as well.

"use it or lose it" is how the phrase goes, if departments don't use up all the money in their budget for the year then they have no chance of getting a larger budget the next year.

quick question for you all. Which tire would fit better on a 18x9 wheels? 245/40/18 or 255/35/18

There are a bunch of online wheel/tire calculators that would probally help.

Stock I have a 17X8 wheel with 245/45/17 and I'm having my rears widened to 17X9 and plan on running a 275/40/17. I'll need a 5mm spacer to fit without rubbing. I think alot depends on the specific car. For preformance reasons, I wouldn't waste my time with a 245 tire on a 9" wheel when you are leaving alot of potential grip on the table, but thats just me.

the 245 should fit fine, it just might be "stretched" a little bit.

255 is just more meat with less sidewall

i already have that. i am looking for a summer set of tires.

i was looking for an information resource/calcualtor that would tell me which would be "optimal" for 9" wide wheel. 245 or 255.

My wheels are 18x9 +22, I run a 235/40 up front and a 255/35 rear. The 235 is a little bit of a stretch. A 225 is noticeably stretched. 255's bulge a little, 245's would be "the right" size.

I would not run a 225 on a 9" on a street car, and I wouldnt run 255's all around unless I was AWD and making some decent power. 255's all around on evo's and sti's look BADASS though.

If you have an Evo, Sti, or something else AWD, Id run 245's all around. If youre rwd, 235/255 combo.

From what I noticed a 245 tire is just a tad over 8". It doesn't specifically tell you what tire is optimal for a 9" but fitment on an 8" @ a 245 tire is very similiar to a 275 on a 9". my goal was to be about the same ratio of wheel to tire at the end.

From my understanding, streching a tire has a harder sidewall but obviously less tire on the ground while a too big a tire will buldge out and not have a solid contact patch so it probally isnt' any better then a smaller tire at the end of the day and won't wear evenly.

This is the calculator I used to help me match up everything but anything from 255-285 would work pretty good on a 9" wheel I would think. Sometimes the BEST size is an odd size and a premium $ for the tire but a slightly different size might be common and be alot cheaper for tires with very small differences in preformance.

I would def reasearch on different tires sizes to make sure you won't rub or anything too. Plus your AWD so you might not need as much rubber as what I have for my 2 wheels and it could be overkill.

I'm peronally not a fan of streching tires. I think its dumb to have a big wheel and not utalize it... otherwise its just worthless weight.
