i was cracking up when i did it to my buddy's page.

someone already made those images so it was easy enough for me to do. The ones for becky and myself were quick and easy too since i've got photoshop at work... did one, and the other was 10 times quicker.

approximately a year or two ago a coworker hung himself.

Very recently the company decided that they would put a bench outside the building in his honor. why this is the "honorific" thing to do has always escaped me. perhaps it's intent is to give one a person a momentary place to sit and think about the person's whose name is on the plaque.

regardless... the last thing i want to do is be reminded of someone that hung themselves when i'm walking into work... a place that kills me little by little.

it's like... oh hey, i'm having a great day... oh ****... Mike... damn, that was a good guy, FML

and of course the thing faces the building... and is about 8 feet away... who wants to stare at a building?

It's not that it's not working out I should say. More just, need to do something that I would actually enjoy. There might be a full time opportunity for me at my part time job which is more enjoyable considering it deals with mustangs. At this point, I just don't enjoy this job right now and my opportunities here are more than likely going to be limited with advancement.

A guy at my company hung himself about 2 years ago too. It was on the 1 year anniversary of when a friend of his hung himself. People are strange. We don't have any memorials though.
