im guessing youre trying to gain? since youre drinking protein shakes, unless thats all your eating lol. in which case. unsafe. stop that ****.

it takes time anyways. what are you doing at the gym?

it took me a long time to gain the weight i wanted cuz i was tiny most my life. till i was 17 or so i was like 4'10''. i weighed like 120. then i grew to about 5'7'' and was like 135. Couldnt gain for ****, no matter how much i ate. metabolism just burned it.

Then i had a friend at college (im 22 by this point and just from growth prolly weighing 145) so he was a personal trainer & start showing me the ropes at the gym. i gained about 10lbs in 3 months. of actual muscle. kept it on but as soon as i stop working out for more than 3 weeks i start noticing losses.

anyways... fastforward to presentish day. i joined the airforce, started runnin a lot in basic training and lost like 5 lbs. got to my first base 7-8 months later and decided it was time to stop ****ing around. lol. i started taking prework out powder. getting into a routine at the gym working out a lot more exercises... and just a whey protein afterwards.

i went from 150ish-175 in a little under 5 months. im happy with it, but im just trying to cut it a little more. i usually work with higher weights and lower reps. which will gain more mass, more reps with lighter weight will get you the definition you need.


let me know what your going for... willing to help with whatever i can.

its about to get a little.... NO HOMO in here.

this was me at about 160, it was a suprise shot for a girl that wanted nothing to do with me cuz i was leaving for the airforce. Hadnt seen me for a year and 3 months at this point so needless to say she has different perspective on the situation now. whereas i have no interest in it now. F**k you bitch.

lol sounds like me. im like 5'6 115 cant gain weight for ****. i want to get to weigh about 140ish and have some definition and be able to lift **** since i cant lift anything to save my life haha

Don't take a pre-work out supplement unless you NO other pre-existing heart conditions in the family. Things like SUPERPUMP and 1MR will cause heart palpitations and irregular sleep patterns.

I agree Julie looked amazing at 125lbs also. However, I can understand her reasoning behind thinking she was still fat at that weight. I'm pretty skinny apparently but I constantly tug at my "skin-fat" and talk down about myself and all that...My roommate thinks I'm worse than a woman because I talk about my weight so much, and then I just go eat ice cream or junkfood and complain some more. I'm hopeless. But I go to the gym 5 days a week to keep from being fat. The high end of my weight range for my height is 196lbs and I'm 180 so I'm definitely alright.

In recognition of memorial day, I'm gonna post some pics of me taking pics of myself from when I was in the military.

That's a drastic change.
I'd like to drop 25-30 pounds, but I'm not sure if I can jumpstart my metabolism at this point. LOL

Ha, well my doctor told me I should be 100 pounds or less back when I was heavy and he lectured me about the importance of losing weight because he thought I was at risk for type 2 diabetes. People may tell me I'm unhealthy being this skinny or whatever but generally speaking I feel better than ever. I still get my junk food in on a regular basis, but I also eat smarter otherwise. My family thinks I'm sick, some people have asked me if I'm anorexic or bulimic. Well, if people only knew how upsetting throwing up is for me... they'd know I could never bring that upon myself. And I do eat. I'm eating pizza as we speak.

At 125 pounds, I still had a gut and my face was puffy. I just wanted to get back to what I weighed before eating my sadness away when I was ~17, and now I'm there. I don't think 125 pounds is heavy, but being 5'2, it just doesn't look good on me.

Congrats on losing the weight, you look amazing! I am 5ft 2 as well and at 107, the most I ever weight was 118 a few years ago when I was 18.

I am as tall as you.. However 125 was best for me, I think it all depends on bone structure. I am now heavier than that and within a good reason for being so. Tips please on how you did that cause come september 14th (or there abouts) I plan on shedding EVERYTHING I have gained. I do the same thing you did..How did you control it?
