So I was browsing for a new car and came across what I think was shady so I emailed the guy on his description of the car. He had just said its and 05 and last of its kind.. etc... etc but this was his response back let me know what you guys think about it.

First of all I would like to tell you that I recently moved in Quebec, Canada because I received a good job here and along with the job I received a new car. I have no use for the car anymore so I am forced to sell it below the market value because the shipping and registrations taxes to bring the car to Canada are very expensive. The vehicle is located in Lancaster, PA at DAS shipping company.
The full price is $3,000 US dollars with shipping included to your location. The car has a clean title and it is ready to be delivered to your location. The car has no electrical or mechanical problems, never been involved in any kind of accidents.
For our protection we can use eBay Motors to complete the transaction. The deal will go strictly according to eBay rules and policy. I want you to know that I'll handle the shipping, so this will be free of charge for you. We will use eBay Motors to manage the payment because it is the safest way for both of us and also you will have 5 days to inspect the car before I receive the money. Also, a refund policy will be included. In order to start the official transaction, I need to know your details:

Sounds like a scam. Ask if you can come pick up the car, and if he says no then u know it's a scam.

That is a scam, no doubt about it.

I hope this lot is well lit and I can get a decent spot when I come, dont know if I'll want to leave my car out of sight from the sounds of the 'rowdiness' (which surprisingly doesn't seem to be coming from any of you guys).

Whats with supra owners and having meets at good lit parking lots?

P.S. If i have a decent spot I would gladly give it up for a TST legend, offcourse u would have to grant me diplomatic immunity to post anything i want on the BBthread!

in my honest opinion. do not do it. i got scammed this same exact way for 15k. I even got the email from ebay motors from some guy saying he got the money and yada yada ya and it was all b.s. but it was same exact set up and all. DON'T DO IT! We're still looking to get the money back and they're still trying to find the guy.

favorite car of the night was the bagged sc300 and that laguna seca blue m3. they had some nice wheel set ups.
