No we dont even like them. There are a few decent people that come but the others are local street ricers that want to show off. They stalk these forums looking for new meets to come and ruin, there is no end to it.

i was there last night. i got there walked around once and left. i was there for a whole 10mins bc the crowd sucked. cop rolled through and someone said something to him and he put it in reverse and went back to the kid. idiots.

last nite was the first night i attended with a buddy of mine which from my understanding are regulars. besides the people who were being dicks in the parking lot it was ok but of course i have nothing to compare it too. i also think that most tst guys seem to be a lil snobby to outsiders which causes people to bring there own friends out which causes choas. most of the people acting like dicks are the younger guys and personally before i had a understanding of how **** goes i could have very well been one of thoses guys but we all mature and like earlier a few people said that because the meet is on a main strip u will attract the typical assholes. and to back up the honda guys....it wassnt just honda guys actin like dumbasses even tho they always get singled out. ill personally give it another shot due to the fact of the few cool people i did meet there. i also feel that if you guys as a forum dont stick together and just start leaving one by one then the problem will never go away because eventually it will get taken over by the masses of asses lol. you guys gotta hold your ground even if you seperate yourself in a different part of the parking lot. just my .02$ but hey what do i know im a noob

u know i tend to agree with the beginning portion of that statement. When I first went to this meet, i knew one person outside of TST. I didnt just sit by my car (like a lot of newcomers do), i walked around and chit-chatted (or tried), and most of the regulars wouldnt give ya the time of day. The only person that spoke to me the first time i went was Mike (sleepersatty). We bull****ted for hours and were two of the last people there. he didnt know me from anyone, but he was cool as shyt.

The 2nd or 3rd time I went I went, Susie and Buster were very cool and didn't cast stones at the outsider..lol Other than that, I've tried to talk to various people and they just act like you're not cool enough for them. lol

So as stated above, I CAN see why people bring outsiders and kind of do their own thing. But by no means does that give them the right to be assholes. Hey, we were all "new" at some point, but most of us have good intentions. It's just a damn shame for those that don't.

yeh it was pretty ridiculous. i mean every now and then you have people flying through the lots and reving their engines, but last night was crazy. im suprised that the cops weren't swarming the place.

you're right, at some point everyone was new and went through exactly what you're going through now. Walk up, talk to people, and im sure people will then start remember your name, saying whats up, etc...

I'm not sure if I met you or not, but im not like that at all. I usually don't even talk to the regulars, they're all gay!

we spoke briefly the last time i was there. Me you and Tim (chargedSVTF) were talking when the cops kicked us out that one time.

I'm just saying in general when newcomers try to talk to people, sometimes people just come off like "who the f are you?"...ya know. And it general the meet is very "cliquey" but thats bound to happen. I come solo and dont really know anyone so I just try to mingle and meet people.

I have nothing against anybody there at all.. I was just saying I under stand why some people may bring outsiders (if the outsiders in question even know TST'ers...they could have absolutely shown up all on their own)...but again, that doesnt give them reason to be douchey.

I think if we can we should go back to the last freshworks spot. Honestly, compared to both freshworks meets, the whitman meet blows. The only upside I see is that it's closer (for me at least) and there is more of a food selection. But hell, I'll give all that up to have a good meet spot again.

I liked going to the one in southampton sooo much more than this one. It seemed a lot more laidback and all the regulars came almost every week. And because it was kind of hidden down some back roads, it took a lot longer for all the idiots to catch on and start ruining the meet. It's inevitable that every meet will eventually have to move bc of these morons, but I really do think the best meets were the ones that weren't on or directly off a main rd.

Can anyone call Mike up to see if we are allowed to meet at the old freshworks again? Or maybe we could rotate meets between the 2 spots. I think every week will confuse people too much, esp if we are rotating between more than 2 spots. Maybe we could do every 2 weeks? Or every month or something? Have the meet at freshworks for one month then switch it and have it at whitman the next month... By the time the random morons catch on we will have already moved or would only have to deal with them for a week before we move back to the freshworks spot.

Unless we set up a gate and personally let each car in, I don't think we'll be able to control the morons. We tried the whole police enforcment thing when **** started to go bad at the last freshworks. TST people told the cops to sit around the corner and ticket every single person that sped or burned out when leaving. We were still asked to leave.

I agree, I really like the first freshworks meet, the one on 2nd st pike and bristol. There were always alot of TST people and always a good time.

what you mean....i was there with my sweet tight tst shirt and no i wasn't just standing there. i went up to the new faces and talked to them. and as for the people that were f'n around they got to hear my loud mouth. when turn around to see who's backing me up there's nobody there. so as for changing the meet place fine by me it's just a matter of time before people act out of line and you'll get kick out of there too.

everytime i show up i hang out for about a hour outside then run in for eats. after that i'm out there to about 1 in the morning hanging out with my fellow enthusiast. i like this place and all the tst member that hang out there. i would hate to see this meet die.

then again i could decide to do another ikea meet.
