With a smaller sidewall it will look like less buldge as well. I'm not sure how to get you pricing though, I usually only deal with the marketing department and speak directly with the project manager of events. I am pretty sure they are $1,200 for the set, maybe a little more.

Toyo r888 r comps. They just released them in the U.S. this year, up until now they have always been a race tire used in Japan and across Europe.

untill shawn from rt gets back to me im p[rolly gonna do the nittos nt 01 . im gonna be at rt on thursday night droppin off my bros car for a tune and gettin prices on nitto vs rt615 vs r888 but im sure nitto is what ill settle for.

d if u think i can get the r888 in 245/40 for under 250 a piece lemme kno so i can change my mind,. otherwise im doin the nittos. they are around 225 each.

after junes ugliness at pocono i need a more serious track tire than my azenis rt 615. the Rt's got slippery when theh heated up at pocono and they got....weird....i didnt like it....

im goin to r comps this spring to see where thatll get me on the road courses. i plan on doing 1 or 2 more other than pocono next yr....eyein up lime rock and VIR. id love to get a caravan of tst peeps to some road course events but since no ones hardcore enuff to shell out 40 bucks for autox, im SURE no one will shell out 300 for a track day....such a shame...all these fine tuned cars wasted on the street...........!

dude, i promise i'll be right next to you at a track day when i'm done messing with my car. i'm trying to get it all sorted and get it tuned, then stop effing with it for a while. possibly before the end of the year though if there are any late events...

no real events anymore...fall closes the scene down...i go to HPDE for pocono but im gonna do it for VIR and lime rock as well, if im goin as far as CT i might as well find events for watkins glen too....bri, im givin ya 6 months to settle it out for ur car, tune it get some brakes and tires and for ur own safety have it corner balanced....and lets rumble! fred also showed interest in a track day but i told him the seasons over as far as i kno....im gettin r comps next spring and then im goin all out assault on trackdays. last year was a blast and if i could get a handful of other tst guys to join along theyd be just as hooked as i am. if we got enough ppl we could have our own team!

around jan/feb ill be startin a thread for TRACK days....real, legit, 150 mph road courses...ill have a schedule for all "local" HPDE going down all thruout the race season of 2008....track days are my passion and im hoping to spread the joy this spring

If I can get the Suby set up, I'll be in for a track day or two next year. I would love to try a new track - Lime Rock sounds fun.
