I live 10 minutes from the Willow Grove exit on the turnpike. Doylestown area. I don't want to scrap it either but i'm overflowing with parts right now. There's just no room for something this bulky.

The third was one I bought for my sister's car and the fitment was a bit better, but not exactly drop-in. It is a "budget" rad compared to Koyo and Fluidyne, and this was a few years ago, so hopefully their QC or designs are a bit better. HOWEVER, I will say that their warranty is stellar and their customer service was top notch when I called them and questioned the fitment, the need to trim brackets, etc. The guy who bought my old 1G even put an elbow through the unit when he was wrenching on the car and they replaced the unit without question with a receipt that even had my name on it. For the few minor issues I had, that kind of CS brings them back up into a positive light.
I've heard they have and I mean if I have to do a small adjustment eh I got no problem doing it. All I know is mine is the original radiator and its broke at the inlet up top. theres not much for the tube to grab onto. Its holding up very well but being replaced asap.

Random Question, How hard do your guys radiator hoses get once the car is warmed up?

I just noticed that the level of hardness on all the 4G63 cars I own is different, didn't know if that was normal. On my panda both the hoses get super hard, anybody else can comment on this? My car doesnt over heat or anything or leak coolant out of the over flow, but I think its strange that out of both my galant and the other 1G I have the rad hoses on the panda get significantly more pressurized.

Mine I noticed get pretty hard to. I only know this because I been monitoring making sure this hose doesn't come off until my new radiator comes in.

Hard is normal. Soft typically means you're low on coolant.

Came with the car. I'm not even sure what brand it is, but it's not in the best shape up close. I have decided that MR2 vs DSM is an impossible decision to make, therefore I need to keep both! I can't afford it, but I don't want to part with either!

Oh, I've definitely considered that, but 3SGTE's are damn good engine as well.

Lol I know the pain of not wanting to part with cars, hahaha, and the 3SGTE are amazing engines, there is no need to swap a 4G63 in there.

I bet the Mr2 drives so much better than the DSM lol.

BTW what suspension is on the 1G?

Sadly I've only driven the MR2 around a few blocks. I got it cheap with engine problems so I'm working on getting a 3SGTE together now. The little bit I have driven it though was much different than DSM's for sure. The 1g is just on Sportlines right now, but redoing the entire suspension is next up on my list.

Lol same here! The shootout is pretty much my favorite couple of days out of the whole year!

And no I won't be running. I'm just driving it out to say I did so. It's not set up to run and has Yoko all terrain tires and a junky transmission and clutch. It's my winter beater for now lol.
