i used to have a german shepard as well. i miss him. we had to put him down back in 2007. 11 years old, and it had sever hip displacia.

Her hips are going, she's 9 now. It's bad enough that if she tries to run away real quick she might fall on her ass but get right back up. She's getting slower getting up, but it's expected and nothing to really do about it since apparently once it starts, there's no stopping it. Being a 100% pure bred German shepard, she's prone to it.

lol camera tips... to make them not so bright and such... or like some starter settings? I dont want to use auto

you have to play around with the apature setting and shutter speed, experamant a little.

umm.. well the lighting is obviously different everywhere, but i usually use an aperture between 2.0 and 3.5 and shutter speed between 600 and 1000, iso 100, and a really warm white balance because it tends to look too cool when it's snowing.. at least on my camera.

you can check my EXIF settings on my flickr if you wanna get a better idea.

i wish i had a puppy to play with in the snow!

oh and i love that i told my parents i would help them shovel if they just waited for me to eat some lunch because i hadn't all day. 20 minutes later when im putting my dishes away, the driveway is 3/4 of the way done and they came inside asking why i never came out to help. sweet.
