ah, so he was saying that democrats dont work, i thought he was implying that african americans dont work, either way, if you're trying to make a serious point, the jokes and put downs dont make you look very good. I agree with the second portion there, but you sort of contradicted yourself and it made me laugh a little.

Sorry about the response time. I didn't contradict myself either. Its very simple. The government only has power because of the people it governs. Without the people the government is powerless. However, over the years people have been dumbed down to believe that the goverment has the power when it really doesn't. The Bush administration did fail due to the lack of demand and presence of the American people's voice in regards to policies, laws, and plans. And with this lack of voicing the American people failed themselves. We have the power to dictate the future of this country, the government is simply a soundboard of which the popular opinion and social constructs are fed through and outward in order to keep order. Not vice versa. Its amazing to see how quickly people are willing to lay down and give up the power and influence they have.
