Ok the video is done. Please keep in mind that I have never edited a video before, most of the video was corrupt when ender gave it to me, and I spent almost 4 hours in one sitting on this. Comments welcome though so I can improve.

It looks fine :-) Especially if most of it was unuseable. I can't open it on my iPhone though. Must be too big. Great job man!

Not trying to be a dick and have never been on a run but... Do you guys seriously consider pushing yourselves and your cars to the limits on public roads with other people and absolutely no sign of safety officials a good idea?

umm well let me try to answer your question. I have put 25 to 30 hours of preparation into this with Ender. I have yet to feel unsafe at anytime. Actually I have been running crappy touring tires during most of the practice runs. 90% of the "cruise" is at or slightly above the speed limit. Yes 5 hours of mountain driving is tough on any car, that is why we ask that everyone have their car in tiptop shape. I can think of only 3 laws I have broken on any of the practice runs.

1. Camera blocking the front window (barely)
2. Not obeying the suggested turn speeds. (who needs to do 10mph?)
3. Once when I was bored, I spun the tires when taking off at a stop sign. (well as much as a tiburon can)

Really this cruise is more about sight seeing and hanging out with other car enthusiasts than it is a race. No one passes or even gets on their cars that hard. Actually I can count on one hand how many times I pushed the pedal to the floor. Seriously I have more danger driving to work every morning than I do on mostly open mountain roads. The risk of anyones safety is up to the person driving and let me tell you, anyone acts up in anyway the cruise is over or 18 other people will beat your ass.

I hope that clearly defines how we feel about this cruise and how important it is that everyone safely makes it home so they can go next year.

I agree 100%! I went last year and there in no real speeding. Nothing to dangerous, just alot of fun and some cool back roads!

Ok not having to say that at the begining of a sentence is the quickest way to ensure you're not being one. But to reply to your question, I am assuming you meant to say it differently and that you were just curious having never been on one, a run like this is as safe as when you drive a back road alone. Yes the speed limit is broken....just a little lol, but you can ask anyone who is going on Sat there is a long list of rules that accompany this run. Those rules include not acting like an ass, staying in your own lane at all times, no tailgating, and respecting and knowing the abilities of your car. A lot of time is put into something like this not to just make sure it's a good time but also to make sure it is safe.

Oh and if you've never been on one you really have to sign up. A group of car people with radios hitting the back roads in the fall is just about the most fun you can have.

video looks pretty good, but it gets boring watching the back of the same car driving down the road. You may want to set up some shots where the cars are driving by you while you sit on the roadside taping, and possibly some different angles from in the car. It takes a LOT of raw video to make something good.

What program do you use to edit the video?
