Gas? lol...put it in neutral. Jr (05accent) can attest to how much I bitch about gas..but then again..pay to play.

I only drive on weekends and to go to PSU anyway..so its not that big of a hit. And I still have Easter funds (50$ debit gift card for the mfw!) so right now im good. Summer though..with car stuff every night...man. That's gonna put a hurtin on me!

Might be (will probably be) getting rid of the GTO next week. Found out it'd been wrecked in the front, took some photos, got an estimate, dealership didn't disclose, so...more than likely, I'm driving to Pittsburgh next week for a swap.

Not dropping $29k on an '06 GTO, when for $1500 more, I can get an '07 STI.

Ah, tis a shame. Oh well, in our parts we have a healthy GTO contingent. I love the fact that with 3 cars we have close to 1200 hp. It's kinda sick..lol

Jim, were you able to get any info on when the wreck was, when it was fixed, etc etc?

twisted- it'll last the day. lol

No info, just that it happened and was repaired (albeit half-ass) before it was traded in. Paint is flaking off several spots on the front fascia, the left front fender was painted off the car, and there's overspray on both outer mirrors.

It was hit in the front, or did some hitting, and when the front fascia was repaired, it wasn't aligned correctly and was prepped properly for paint. I didn't notice these things because I picked the car up dirty, didn't wait for them to wash it since the weather was bad, and I knew it'd get trashed on the trailer ride home from Pittsburgh.

Yeah, really like the GTO, but not enough to pay $1700 to have it fixed, PLUS the unknown hit (for it being wrecked in the first place) when I trade it or sell it.

Recently picked up a domestic (first one other then trucks).

I have to say that a ton of the build quality crap people say about domestics rings true.

However, I'm still having a blast with it.

Time to hang some twin-snails off of it. ;-)

Nah, I wanted decent power/weight and handling.

I actually DID consider the GTOs a little bit though.
