hahah thanks for the support guys.

There unfortunately will be no manual swap (even though i have thought about it. I spoke with the people who sold me the trans and are willing to sell me another 80e at half price (600$) i will probably just buy that over the winter here and then swap it in the spring. The floor needs to be replaced anyways and i dont like my original trans tunnel. I also would like to rewire the dash as well. So the plan will most likely be to spend early summer replacing the floor from the front seats forward, rewiring, and maybe making a sheet metal dash since the factory one is in poor shape anyways.

There also may be the chance that i just part the car out and move on. I REALLY want to learn to build roll cages to better prepare me for a dream job as a race car fabricator/engineer. and the BMW really isnt the car for a cage.

So we'll see, I aint even mad

so im working on this thing and it runs now. new AEM pump, 10 gauge wiring from fuse box, pre filter and new regulator. also changed the spark plugs and oil. seems to run pretty good now. trans is next

new bullet. its already in the car. just need to build a new mount, run trans cooler lines, and get a conversion u-joint

That's so awesome. Haha it does look like you just were like "yep, guess I'll listen to Bob".

I *think* those e28s have that front tie rod bar with a few joints on it. If it does have one, those get SLOPPY and will ruin the feel. Some billy hds and H&R springs would go a loooong way.

Thinking about taking it with me to work friday. But i'm a little nervous it may not make the 140 mile round trip commute. I would really hate to be that guy that blocks a lane on 76 during rush hour....
