SOOOO i sold my 82 rabbit i had, and am just about finishing up my ruckus build (or should i say starting the build since I'm just about done collecting parts) but i finally have a few bucks in my bank account and can start buying some **** for the subie again soon
Ive been back and forth about a few things and finally decided after seeing a dyno sheet that rt tuning put up that turbo/injectors are next. Specifically some deatswherk 850 or 1000cc's and a Blouch DOM1.5xtr turbo. This should put me right around 370-380whp and 355-365wtq on 93 octane. That makes me excited haha I should have enough for the parts in a few weeks then i just have to see how much r/t will want for the install/tune and i will finally have a "fast" car :D dyno sheet for reference (perfect for a daily imo)

yeaa budddy...every car I've ever built has been like 90% looks and 10% performance. This car is going to be the opposite haha. Also i have a little motivation because me and my pops had a big block chevelle a few years ago which was like a high 11 second car and he sold it kind of out of nowhere and I'm still pissed about it. Well i told him id just have to build something faster than that some day and well....here it is.

Plans look good man!
Have you thought about a 20G-XT? That's the turbo I would want, plus it would make around the same power.

yea from what I'm reading the dom1.5 makes a little more power but shifts the power band a little bit more to the right. That doesn't bother me too much i mean its still making full power at what 4500 or so? i can't see the graph while I'm typing this lol

Hit me up when you're going to take that VF52 off. Also can't wait to see what results you get with the Dom1.5, I think that's a really streetable upgrade (out of the Dom series).

haha ill PROBABLY hang on to it since it'll have so little miles on it. But yea i was looking at doing the 20gxtr but thats only good for like 350whp on pump gas from what I'm seeing. The dom1.5xtr is good for a decent amount more, and i really wanna stay pump gas since e85 just really isn't available around here :

yeah agreed, e85 isn't readily available enough yet to be a good daily option. |

Are you gonna drop some forged pistons in this beast before you put an upgraded turbo on?
Also the bov you have, whats the advantage with that over the stock bov?

Pistons are needed at like 400whp +/- so i SHOULD be ok at around 380. And the valve i have is a recirculating valve, same style as stock just stronger and made to hold boost longer. The stock one is plastic so it'll break or leak with high boost, but i didn't want the pshhhhh sound so i just went with this one
