Two nights ago Matt Monett from Dynamic Racing ran a 8.81@166mph followed by a 8.88@165mph at 3600 ft. He broke his previous record of 9.05 from the end of last season and is still running off a piggyback and no NOS. His setup still has quite a bit in it since he snapped two axels in his first two attempts (which were supposedly 300mm from DSS). His record breaking passes where then done on stock axels but his 60ft suffered due to upping the tire pressure.

After he feels he has maxed out his current setup he plans on throwing in an AEM and upgrading his 720cc injectors to 1000cc which will allow him to up the boost even more.

Damn, pretty quick, this may be a dumb question, but is that car FWD?

Nope its AWD. On the first two launches he snaps an axel which is why he swerves all over the place.
