Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr we could all just make our girl friends (those of us who actually have them) wear white t-shirts. That way we're sure to have a turn out.

Call me genius.

And Sam, if you could make either date, you wouldn't care about everyone talking about the rain. So YOU shut it.

All I know is I've never seen people worry so much about rain...
I'm just worried about how long it'll take Sonic to make me some grub.

I wouldn't care AS much, yes, but I've been planning to attend on the 25th. Me not being able to make it on the 2nd came into play about two weeks ago.

And last year, Sonic did very well with making the food and actually getting the orders correct.

At least we're not fearing brush fires, right?

Seriously - we'll have to sit tight and see what happens. Some sites say 180% rock fall, others say 40% chance of showers. Tough call yet.

This meet should be rain or shine. Last year it was raining, cold, windy and we still got ALOT of people to go. So a fairly good amount of people don't really care if it's rains. I don't.

If it rains, my car will be clean. If it doesn't rain, then my car won't be clean.

You'd swear I was a Subaru guy.

It wasn't pouring the whole time during the meet though, just a light rain that was kinda off and on. I doubt if it was like torrential rain, which looks pretty possible right now, anyone would want to stand around in that for long.

even if is says 50% or above the total day might not be a wash out. i mean look at last year, in the afternoon it started to get sunny. If you move it to the following week you then have the chance for even worse weather and May 9th is mothers day so you cant even push it back to that cuz you wont get the turnout expected.

i laughed really hard at the "what happens if it rains on the rain date" comment...thats called bad luck..

Honestly guys rain is rain...could be three feet of snow, which im sure some would love still. I went last yr had a blast, rain sucked meet was awesome...you deal with it. I am going no matter what the call....just this year I am bringing towels and new jeans to throw on before the ride home!

No using the rain date again equals a HUGE FAIL! We didnt use it last year and it sucked. Yes it was fun hanging out but there wasnt many people there and wasnt a huge amount of cars like expected! There was a rain date established for a reason!

Hey guys, I am a junior meteorology student at Millersville University and just got done forecasting for the short term period. The big problem with this weekend is the timing of this storm is back and forth. The first scenario is the storm may get here earlier Saturday afternoon and heavy rain Saturday night, where Sunday would be rain tapering off by midday and showers in the afternoon but we are still carrying 70% chance of showers through the day. THE OTHER scenario is that the rain does not get here until late Saturday night making Sunday a complete washout. I would just be patient to see what call the guys make. I am going either way but def going to be better prepared for the condition unlike last year lol.

PS.... No i dont want to be on TV for meteorology because i get that question everyday hahaha
