Hood Pins

Does anyone know who makes this type of Hoodpin?? I've seen them before on Mustangs but I cant find anything on the web.

I've searched Google under Hoodpin, Hoodlock, Flathead Lock pretty much anything you can think of and I cant find these anywhere!!!

Lol, Yeah I bought it like that...The Hood is Really really light...Personally I wouldn't have gone with 6. I did find them on Summits site...there called Quarter Turn Fastners...But I'm gonna run Aerocatch ones up front...My Only dilemma know is finding someone to make blockoff plates for the other 4 spots.

On the topic of hoodpins.. has anyone heard or know anything about the invisible ones? Theyre suppossed to be flat to blend in with your hood. Other than that, I know nothing. I just know that I want to get rid of my SPACRO pins and get something less butch looking

Yeah There Called Aerocatch I mentioned them In my Other post. Just Google it and you'll find them.

I found them on Summits site, They are indeed hoodpins...And I'm not gonna bondo it and re fiberglass it, That wouuld require me to repaint the whole hood...I think I know what I'm gonna do

Thanks for the help guys.

Scott, if the hood is that light and have no supports underneath, you will need those pins. Im just speaking from experience.

Yeah but Spendone made a Valid Point...the Hood is Super Light, Although I'd have to do some research and see if it's the same weight as a CF Hood...Because those guys only run 2 Hood Pins Up front and dont have many issues. My Main problem now is the old ones are all rusty and they dont work like they should so its annoying to work with it to try and close and secure the hood properly.

Worst case is I get 4 new ones replace them on the side and run the two Aerocatch pins on the front of the Hood. But Ultimatly I'd like to get rid of them altogether.

And yes it's Nate's Old DSMOTORSPORT Car. I got a little piece of DSM History Sitting in my Parking Lot
