Evo..What plugs are you running?

I just picked up about 85hp and need to know if I should go a step colder using the old rule of 100hp=1 step colder plugs? I have heard yes and no, either way what are you running and what gap?

I think you should get a one step colder plug. The copper NGK's are good, but you have to replace them at almost every oil change. I use Denso iridiums. Alot of guys don't like them because they think they come pre-gapped and when they install them their idle is rough. I gapped mine at 24 and they work perfect.

I'd recommend going a step colder. I'm running NGK Iridium plugs gapped at 24 also.

BPR7ES gapped at .027. Work the gap smaller if you need too.

BPRs don't work in the IX. Definitely go one step colder Nick. Get the NGK Iridiums. I have the P/N at the shop...
